APLAC network based distribution consists of 3 ZIP-files that contain the same files as the disk distribution (DEM700E1.ZIP, DEM700E2.ZIP and DEM700E3.ZIP). To install APLAC, use program SETUP.EXE as follows: 1) Unpack the ZIP-files in a temporary directory (e.g., C:\TMP) 2) Enter directory "C:\TMP" 3) Type "SETUP", then press ENTER If the Windows Program Manager is running, you can alternatively: 1) Unpack the ZIP-files in a temporary directory (e.g. C:\TMP) 2) Select "RUN" from the Program Managers "FILE" menu 3) Type "C:\TMP\SETUP" in the "Command line" entry field and press ENTER After installation remove the files in directory C:\TMP. APLAC FILES An installation (without component libraries) will require about 8 Mb disk space. The following files will be installed in the APLAC directory (the default APLAC directory is C:\APLAC): APLAC.EXE executable Windows program WIN488.DLL DLL for nwa measurements (not in demo version) GBIB.DLL DLL for nwa measurements (not in demo version) SPI2A.EXE executable DOS program (simple Spice netlist to APLAC netlist conversion program) TS2A.EXE executable DOS program (simple Touchstone netlist to APLAC netlist conversion program) SYNTAX.DAT syntax of APLAC components (used by NASSE, Nokia Application Specific Schematic Editor) APLAC.HLP APLAC online help file EMAPLAC.HLP APLAC online help file (EM Simulations) SYSAPLAC.HLP APLAC online help file (System Simulations) APLACVER.HLP APLAC online help file APLACLIB.HLP APLAC libraries (NOKIA version only) README.TXT Installation instructions The example files will be installed in C:\APLAC\EXAMPLES\* directory and the component libraries (Currently only in Nokia version) will be installed in C:\APLAC\LIB directory. OTHER SETTINGS The setup program will create a Program Manager Group called "APLAC".
