After completing the basic site update in early 2002, we have discontinued monthly reporting of changes.
Work continues on a daily basis on updating content and keeping links current.
This is the old Spread Spectrum Scene Online Change Directory, where we highlighted
recent changes and new topics posted on our pages during the period when we were involved in
a major site overhaul. Changes are listed below by date.
Months marked as "Archived" will take you to a different page.
Note:
a "major update" includes tracking down and fixing
many broken links and adding significant new material. A "minor change"
includes fixing single broken links or adding one or two new links.
Some pages may have been changed more than once during the month, but are only listed
one time under a single category. Pages with truly minor changes -- minor format or coding modifications,
link checks that did not result in changes, changed advertising, etc. will no longer be
listed in this change directory effective December 1, 2001.

More invisible changes for improved navigation and faster loading.
We finished the menu changes this month, split more oversize pages, and finally figured out how to
make the internal navigation links work consistently! Pages listed below all had more substantive
changes than these:
Site Update Completed!!! We continued making
tweaks to our new menus, including a new menu for our entire Pegasus Technologies Section.
More importantly, we finished our Community Topics, Software Downloads, and
Site Basics sections. This completes our basic section updates, and we can now devote full time to
ongoing changes, news, and pursuing hot new topics!
Major Menu Changes; completion of Links
and Assorted Topics section. Feedback from our readers told us that our old
java menus were hard to read and blocked by many firewalls. So we completely redesigned
our left-hand menu bars and changed all the pages with them. We also discovered that our new
ValueClick banner ads were significantly slowing down page loading time, so we moved to block
all non-GIF advertisements. These changes are not reflected
on the table below, but all our content and other changes are listed.
